Warren was born and raised in Saskatchewan and obtained his JD from the University of Saskatchewan in 2003. Following graduation he moved to Alberta where he articled with a downtown Edmonton law firm.

Warren's legal focus is primarily in the areas of family law and immigration law. He is also experienced in Criminal Defence and has worked extensively with real estate clients regarding the purchase and sale of residential properties.

Warren is an avid outdoorsmen as well as a recreational shooter. He is a certified measurer with Boone & Crockett Club as well as a certified Range Safety officer for the Province of Alberta and an Authorized firearms verifier for the Canadian Firearms Program.
