Brent Boisvert advises First Nation clients on band governance, corporate and commercial matters, and consultation issues between First Nations, the resource sector and governments. Brent also practices general commercial law, dealing with corporate governance, commercial financing, and business acquisitions and sales.

Brent regularly appears before the Provincial Court of Alberta and the Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench. Brent has also appeared before the Alberta Court of Queen's Bench and is experienced in Appeal Matters. He is a member of the Bigstone Cree Nation in Wabasca, Alberta.

Brent has also worked for an MLA providing research support on First Nations issues in Northern Alberta although his real passion is hockey. He loves to coach hockey and has played in the USHL.
