Jon is in the process of qualifying to become a lawyer in Alberta.

Jon holds a BBA from Mount Royal University in Calgary Alberta with an LLB from Thompson Rivers University. Prior to attending Law School, Jonathan worked for the Alberta Solicitor General and Ministry of Public Security for 10 years.

Jon was inspired to become a lawyer through his extensive involvement with the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees where he volunteered as a Union Steward; Treasurer of the Local 003 Executive; and Members Representative on the Occupational Health and safety Committee.

Now that he has completed his Law degree, Jonathan is eager to reestablish his roots in Northern Alberta where he was born and raised.

In his free time Jonathan enjoys hiking, biking and fishing.
